Beloved fashion designer, Alber Elbaz who was known for his 14-year tenure at Lanvin passed away at the age of 59 due to COVID-10. Elbaz was born in Morocco in 1961 and his family immigrated to Israel. His interest in fashion started at an early age and his mother encouraged him to move to New York City by giving him $800 to pursue his dreams. Since then, his career took off and he made a huge impact in the fashion industry with his inclusivity. He understood the importance of shapes and silhouettes for women of all sizes. He wanted women to embrace themselves with his designs.The industry has lost a legendary visionary and his rich, warm, and loving spirit will be deeply missed.
