Born in Jamaica and raised in Miami, Tyshane “BEAM” Thompson's world of music and religion has collided beautifully. As the son of the dancehall and gospel reggae artist, Papa San, music is in his DNA, starting production at ten years old. His name represents being a light, a bridge, and a pillar, standing in the gap between church and culture, Christianity and the club, and the world and the word. Growing up in the church, BEAM’s journey and experience has fostered a deeper perspective that everyone is human and has flaws. He understands that we all battle with both flesh and spirit, right and wrong.

At the age of 20, BEAM retreated to Las Vegas to focus and recenter himself with music, empowering him to restart his career, transitioning from Tyshane to BEAM. BEAM is not only a producer but a songwriter. He has worked with rappers and musicians like 21 Savage, Andy Mineo, Lecrae, and 2 Chainz, just to name a few. More recently, BEAM was featured with Justin Bieber on his latest album Justice on the single, Love You Different. As an emerging artist, be on the lookout for his work and artistry!

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.” - Ephesians 1:7-10
