LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton's CEO Bernard Arnault is now the richest man in the world, surpassing Jeff Bezos. Arnault who is now worth $196 billion as of this past Thursday, owns 47% of the brand conglomerate. The company currently has a market value of $416 billion, home to 70 luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Loewe, Loro Piana, Fendi, Celine, Sephora, and more. The stock price has soared over 30% since last year's pandemic, breaking record sales and profits this year. Earlier in 2021, LVMH had one of the biggest luxury brand acquisitions with Tiffany & Co worth $15.8 billion. As the stock continues to rise, Arnault's global influence is a part of that contribution as the growth and success of luxury and fashion houses thrive.
