Looking beyond the mitten memes and complex political perspectives, Bernie Sanders has been an influential leader for the US government. As a youth, Bernie excelled in basketball and track. The disposition of his athleticism to not only work within a team while also being placed into individual roles to run independent races has allowed him to gain collective insight and traction to the social influences that we have evolved to in our life and times.

As a child, Bernie became interested in politics after studying the impacts of WWII and the unfortunate Holocaust that took the lives of many of his relatives. To this day, his charismatic whit is infectious as he continues to speak through his childhood voice. Relationships have been his primary mission from a competitive track race to now for our human race.

God’s works are the indication of faith, not your personal optimism and wants. It is not enough for God to want it for you. You must want it for yourself so faith requires your full participation.

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.” - Ephesians 2:8-9
