Belgian designer Dries Van Noten took his Spring 2022 collection to a new level of intimacy as he showcased his new pieces post pandemic. The pandemic and the lockdown allowed the designer to reflect and gain new inspiration. The moment that everyone was facing was a starting point for people to "really feel." As he and his team were designing, they felt a sense of joy and fun. The collection, "Greetings From Antwerp" was personal. His team shared their iPhone photos of Antwerp and the collection looks were coupled with the footage. Van Noten's collection is relaxed and consisted of a variety of less tailored and imperfect designs. He highlighted the beauty of his home from a local and international tourist point of view.

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor." 0 Isaiah 61:1-3
