Chinese-American billionaire Eric Yuan is the CEO and founder of Zoom Video Communications. Known for its cloud-based videotelephony and online chat services, the software platform is aiming to bridge the division between the conference room and the remote employee. During their Zoomtopia 2021, Yuan announced new services and features. Given the acceleration of business Zoom faced during the global pandemic, there's more than enough room for expansion. Some new features include Conferences to Zoom events to organize multiple day events and serve as a track management system in one format. Zoom will also add a Video Engagement Center (VEC), that allows customers to engage with CSR experts, like a virtual call center. Yuan also announced the new Zoom Whiteboard that will allow for asynchronous collaborations, with more accessibility and inclusivity tools like live transcription and automated translation. These are a few of the many features and what's to come for the ultra successful software platform. Yuan is more strategic and understands the needs for this market and companies overall.
