LOTTA VOLKOVA INFLUENCING ACROSS THE INDUSTRY

Prominent in-house stylist Lotta Volkova plays a major role behind-the-scenes for fashion houses and brands with her creativity. Originally from Russia, she studied at London's Central Saint Martins where she started her own clothing line at a young age. She began designing clothes for herself and her friends and successfully landed stockists early on, one location including Dover Street Market London. Volkova did not remain a designer for long and wanted to focus on styling. Since then, her hand and creative eye is embedded within brands like Gosha Rubchinskiy, Vetements, and Balenciaga, working closely with Demna Gvasalia in developing and expanding their visions. She has collaborated with notable photographers like Juergen Teller, Ellen von Unwerth and other leading fashion houses, consulting and bringing their visions to life. Amongst her personal projects, this year she stepped into the Senior Fashion Editor role at large for i-D Magazine. In this position, she'll be using her skills to further the magazine's vision. She works alongside alongside Sydney Rose Thompson to direct editorials and fashion shoots for their quarterly issues.
