She’s a pastor, songwriter, and singer, Mariah McManus, the daughter of Mosaic Church’s lead pastor, Erwin McManus. Mariah is the lead worship pastor for the church and lead singer for Mosaic MSC. The community that raised her, shaped her into who she is today. Mariah’s influence reaches outside of the church community, living a life that is filled with hope and purpose. What matters to her are the contents of her soul, what’s in her vessel. She allows God to pour into her so she can allow people to hear what he has for them. Mariah encourages people to care for the contents of within because that is what matters the most and that will reflect what pours out.

“We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.” - 2 Corinthians 4:7-10
