Nike's co-founder Phil Knight and his wife Penny recently made their second donation of $500 million to his alma mater, the University of Oregon. Through this cash donation, it will support the university's Phil and Penny Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact. Their bioengineering, applied scientific research, and training programs will have the opportunity for expansion. The purpose of the program is for societal impact through scientific discoveries and practical solutions. The university plans for new construction of facilities and open the job market for faculty and student careers. Additionally, they plan to build a 175,000 square-foot multi-story building dedicated to bioengineering and applied science research. The campus began in 2016, with the Kings initial $500 million donation.
With a generous heart, have a heart of expectancy for a an abundant harvest!
