As the Co-Creative Director, Raf Simons works in synchronization with Miuccia Prade to create distinct designs for their collaborative collections. Through their connectedness, Raf has the opportunity to learn from Miuccia that allows him to explore possibility in a new way. In a recent interview, Raf learned that it’s never too late to start over again. He is inspired when working with Miuccia, realizing to keep an open mind. “To the point where you can get an idea a few hours before the show and if it’s possible to realize it, it’ll be executed,” Simons commented during a recent interview. He finds himself to be a great match with Prada. Simons said, “The process never stops. I don’t have a beginning, a middle and an end.” When designing collections, his inspiration has no method. He writes a lot, which is an important way for him to express himself through the messaging of his work, grounding his brand.

Prada’s Fall/Winter 2021 men’s collection titled, Possible Feelins made its runway debut this past season with Miuccia Prada, making this their second collaboration. In celebration of his brand’s 25th anniversary, he plans to re-release 100 pieces so the younger generation has the opportunity to have access to some of his timeless pieces from the past. The youth hold high interest in his past collections and the exclusivity of this launch will allow them to experience Raf Simons’ classic garments.
