Iranian-Swedish singer, Snoh Aalegra processes her pain and heartache through music, which is also a form of healing for her. Since the passing of her father, though years have passed, she holds onto the pain she has felt but uses her talent as her way to release the pain. One of Aalegra’s mentors and friends was Prince, who discovered her three years before his passing before anyone knew her. She was a student to the master artist himself. Aalegra’s experiences with death and love are motivational forces for her writing. Her deep connection with music started as a child when she heard Whitney Houston’s voice for the first time. She is moved whenever she listens to music, feeling a deeper, spiritual connection. Her hope is that her music makes people feel something. Her album, Ugh, Those Feels Again, definitely has that impact!

Create beauty from the ashes and push through the pain! Allow yourself to heal and become whole again!

“Yet when holy lovers of God cry out to him with all their hearts, the Lord will hear them and come to rescue them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to all whose hearts are crushed by pain, and he is always ready to restore the repentant one.” - Psalms 34:17-18
