Japanese fashion designer Tomo Koizumi taught himself how to design at a young age. He had no formal training and learned by doing, using his female friends and designed customized pieces for them. His work is colorful, hand-sewn, and vibrant in all aspects. From the silhouettes to the textiles and materials used, you can spot a Koizumi piece. Recently, he teamed up with sacai and launched an accessories capsule. They designed tote bags and leg warmers, bringing together Chitose Abe's distinct & unpredictable aesthetic with Koizumi's vibrancy. This is not his first collaborative work, he has also worked with Emilio Pucci for their Spring Summer 2021 collection. Koizumi has become a favorite in the industry and is adored by many established designers. He has a bright future ahead!
